So all of a sudden the Play Store app icon disappeared from my phone. It used to be right on my home screen now it's gone. It's not even listed in my application manager. Now when I want to go to the Play Store I have to Google search for it. I can't even find a way to reinstall it on my phone, I don't even see it in the Play Store.
Any app that you have downloaded yourself can be uninstalled. Uninstalling an app will remove it entirely from your phone. Disabling an app will remove it from the apps screen and stop it from running in the background. Disabled apps will no longer receive updates. Depending on where you bought your device, different apps may be preinstalled.
Was the phone purchased from a store or from a person? If from a site, take it back and see if they can fix the issue or replace the device. If from a person, the phone may have a custom ROM and the GApps that was installed isn't compatible with the installed Android version.Go to Settings, About Phone (you may have to go to Device and About Phone), note the kernel version and build number.

Issue with apps transferred over to new phone. 10-02-2023 12:44 PM in. I received my S23 Ultra yesterday, I transferred my information over by Wi-Fi rather than the cable, this may have been an issue as I then had to go back and move my contacts over which were saved on the phone rather than the sim. My calendar does not seem to have moved over
We are enrolling Android devices to Intune using Zero Touch enrollment. Devices are enrolled as fully managed corporate devices. After the enrollment, there is no "Intune Company Portal" app in the app drawer. I check Settings > Applications and the Play Store and it says the app is installed, but I cannot find it.
